My approach to photographing newborns has really evolved and grown alongside me over the last 12 years. The style that has really come to be my brand focuses on connection. I use a combination of both lifestyle and posed imagery, and it captures the way you feel. Newborn sessions take place in the comfort of your home in the first 2-4 weeks of baby's life to insure those sweet, squishy poses we all know and love. My clients LOVE the fact that I travel to them...so they can take their time getting ready and not have to leave the house with their new little one.

There are three newborn packages to choose from. Each session comes with beautiful digital images for you to print whenever you want, wherever you want.

Each session requires $100+tax down to retain your date on the calendar, and the remaining balance will be due the day of your session. After your session is completed, your gallery will be ready in approximately 4 weeks. Once you receive your gallery, you will be able to select your final images from your online gallery for you to receive the high resolution digital downloads. Each gallery comes with the opportunity to purchase more images, and each gallery comes with the ability for you to print your images wherever you want, whenever you want.

WHEN SHOULD I SCHEDULE MY NEWBORN SESSION?

WHEN DOES A NEWBORN SESSION OCCUR?

Newborn sessions generally occur within the baby's first 2-3 weeks of life, if possible. I do photograph newborns up to 6 weeks though, so it's never too late to inquire!

The longer baby is out of the womb, the less likely they are going to sleep for long periods of time and are able to pose easily into those sweet, squishy poses, so the earlier the better.

I generally recommed booking around the beginning of your 2nd trimester. My calendar fills quickly, so if you are wanting a session, book as soon as you can to insure your newborn session on my calendar. When we first book, we will book for your due date, and then once you deliver you will contact me and we will schedule your exact session date and time. If unforeseen circumstances arise, I am very flexible and we can make arrangements as needed.

WHAT DO I NEED FOR THE SESSION?

IS THIS SAFE?

There really is very little you will need for your photo shoot, except your gorgeous newborn! I have a wide variety of beautiful, tasteful props, outfits, and backgrounds which will incorporate different themes and colors for me to create a variety of different looks. If you are wanting to incorporate something specific, please let me know prior to the session.

I have worked with hundreds of babies throughout my 12 year career as a photographer. I have received training in newborn safety as well as extensive one-on-one training on how to safely pose your baby so they are relaxed and comfortable throughout the session. Your baby will lead the session, I will not attempt any poses your baby doesn't like.
