Hi! I'm Amanda. I am engaged to the most amazing man in the world. I know, I know...so cliche right? But for real...he is a keeper! His name is Adam and we plan to get married in April of 2017! I have 2 sons and a soon to be bonus son (we don't personally care for the word "step", he's a bonus!) so my home life is full of dirt. By that I mean literal dirt...these boys are a mess!
I live for photography, coffee, Disney, and Anne of Green Gables...in that order. Most would find it weird that my biggest hobby is also my job, but I will be the first to tell you that I never put my camera down. I love documenting my life and my kids! I am coffee obsessed, I love going around different coffee shops and relaxing. I am a former Disney Cast Member for Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida! I spent a year working, living, and breathing Disney...and it was the best year of my life! As for Anne of Green Gables, my grandmother introduced me to it when I was a young kid...and I have loved it ever since. I love that through that, I still have a connection to her.
When I was little, I can remember getting my first polaroid camera for Christmas...and I have been a photographer ever since! I studied Studio Art as my minor in college (Messiah College, Grantham, PA) and when I had my first son, I decided to pick it up full time. I have since been in business for about 5 years, photographed hundreds of familes and babies, and I never want to stop! I have been featured in the Huffington Post (link below), and I am a member of the International Association of Professional Birth Photographers as well as the Public Breastfeeding Awareness Project (PBAP). My work also covers the walls at Cedar Park Pediatric and Family Medicine (the Ronald Reagan location)
You can find me hanging out on the Amanda Jackson Photography Facebook page, come and join the fun! I would love to meet you and have a chance to be a part of and document your memories!
