Hi, I’m Amanda

And I am obsessed with memories.

What does motherhood feel like to you?

Is it that euphoric happiness you get right after giving birth to your child? Is it the sense of pride (mixed with a little bit of bittersweet) you feel when you're breastfeeding your baby for the last time? Or could it be the amazement as you watch your child grow from newborn to toddler to child and beyond?

So many moments of motherhood are so fleeting, and yet we never find the time to be in front of the camera with our littles. Get in the picture...you are beautiful and life is beautiful with you in it.Let's tell YOUR story. Let's capture your family. How they are at this exact moment...because lets face it...these moments are fleeting.

Hi! I'm Amanda! The photographer here at Amanda Jackson Photography!

I am a mom of 4, and a wife of 6 years! I am in love with my family...and confession...I am obsessed with memories.

A little look into my life...when I was 13, my 18 year old sister died in a car accident. Some of the most precious memories we have of her preserved are the senior portraits she had taken just weeks before her terrible accident, and I am so thankful we have those. I realize how precious life truly is...and capturing those memories is pretty much my favorite thing in the world.

Some stuff you need to know about me

I have been obsessed with photography

I'm obsessed with:

my entire life (see the picture)

Coffee. It is life.

Nothing makes me happier than

My favorite person is

Seeing my kids smile

My husband!

I’m addicted to

I started this business

golden retrievers

when I was 23!

My favorite movie(s) of all time

My perfect hobby

Anne of Green Gables

photography...of course!

My kids helped me see the world from a new & exciting perspective.

Being a parent myself, I understand how quick these moments pass. From the beginning of my business in 2012, I have made it my absolute goal to capture the moments...and not just everyone smiling and looking at the camera.

I strive to capture the memories of the way your little one scrunches their nose when they laugh. Or the way your partner glows when they look at you. Families all look different and so the authentic is so important to remember.
